Mesdag Family...yes there are a lot of us Mesdag's

After arriving in Juneau and being welcomed by both the sunshine and our family, I was so excited to get out for a family session while the fireweed was still in Bloom.  Thanks Mark and Julia for going out for pics with me.  It was an awesome session and I'm so glad we were able to make it happen before fall.

Karina and Sam's Wedding

Before leaving town on our journey North, Alec and I had the honor and privaledge of photographing a two day wedding in Portland Oregon.  The first day was a semi-traditional Jewish wedding ceremony at the home of Karina's parents and the second day was a Pirate themed wedding reception at the same location.  The bride and groom are into the outdoors, traveling and having fun and was excited to celebrate with their family and friends from all over the world.
